- Inhale: God is here
- Exhale: We are loved
Call to Worship
Adapted from the Brief Statement of Faith
In life and in death, we belong to God.
Through the transforming grace of our risen Lord,
the steadfast love of God,
and the faithful presence of the Holy Spirit,
We are brought from darkness into light,
called to live and share the resurrection.
Amen.
Worship Song
Teach Us Your Ways
Teach us Your ways… teach us Your ways
As we learn from one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us Your ways
Teach us to give… teach us to give
Give ourselves for one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us to give
Teach us to weep… teach us to weep
Let us weep with one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us to weep
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Let us learn from one another
Learn to love each other
Teach us Your ways
Jesus You Alone
Jesus, You alone shall be my first love
My first love
The secret place and highest praise shall be Yours
Shall be Yours
To Your throne I’ll bring devotion
May it be the sweetest sound
Lord, this heart is reaching for You now
So I’ll set my sights upon You
Set my life upon Your praise
Never looking to another way
Jesus, You will be my passion
Jesus, You will be my song
You will find me longing after You
Day and night I’ll lift my eyes to seek You
To seek You
Hungry for a glimpse of You in glory
In glory
Prayer of Confession
God of all ages and God of today,
Source of all compassion, hope, and life,
we gather to honor and worship You.
We confess how easily we wander from You
and Your path of love and justice.
Forgive the ways we betray Your love;
Hear us, O God, we pray:
— Moment of silent prayer —
God of restoration,
Help us to be rooted in Your love,
bearing fruit of kindness and peace
for those around us.
Amen.
Assurance of God’s Love
Prayers of the People
We will invite individuals to stand and pray out loud on behalf of others in the one-sentence format, “We pray for (name), who is (facing this concern)”
After each person prays, we will respond out loud together, “Lord, have mercy”

Not in a Hurry
Lord I don’t want to rush on ahead
In my own strength
When You’re right here
I’m not in a hurry
When it comes to Your Spirit
When it comes to Your presence
When it comes to Your voice
I’m learning to listen
Just to rest in Your nearness
I’m starting to notice
You are speaking
Lord I wanna love like You
I wanna feel what You feel
I wanna see what You see
Open my eyes, I want to see You
Open my ears, I want to hear You speak
Tell me your thoughts what’s on your mind
I’ll be your friend, I want to see through your eyes
Scripture Reading
John 10:22-30
22 At that time the festival of the Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was winter, 23 and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon. 24 So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered, “I have told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name testify to me; 26 but you do not believe, because you do not belong to my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”
Reader: This is the Word of the Lord.
Together: Thanks be to God.

The Season of Easter
Pastor David
Reflection questions:
- What are some ways that you hear or see God in your life?
- What are some new ways that you hope to hear/see God? What areas of your life are you hoping to notice the presence of God more?
Worship Song
You Don’t Have to Lose Heart
Hey now, you don’t have to lose heart
Hey now, we are only at the start
Of what God’s doing here
Hey now, you don’t have to lose heart
Hey now, we are only at the start
Of what God’s doing here… He’s here
So let us put our trust
In the One who carries us
So we can let go
Of every disappointment
Let us cling to love
To the hope ahead of us
So we can hold on
To every single promise
Brother, when your troubles weigh you down
Sister, fix your eyes on higher ground
On the peace yet to come, to come
Let us rest here in the hands
Of the One who made all things
Let us rest here in the plans
Of the One who knows all things
