Centering Practice
We invite you to slow down, breathe, and connect with God, each other, and yourself. Begin by closing our eyes and taking several slow, deep breaths.
- Faith is like a seed that grows into something beautiful. As we begin to enter a new year, we’ll invite you to a few embodied motions:
- Breathe in and hold your hands to your heart, imagining that you’re holding a seed of faith
- Now, breathe in and hold your hands out, imagining that it’s beginning to grow (with the rain and sun and care it needs to flourish)
- Finally, breathe in and hold your arms outward, imagining that the seed has become a tall, powerful, beautiful tree!

In Jesus, the grace of God has appeared,
