Worship Songs

Great Are You Lord

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
every heart that is broken
And great are You, Lord

It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise

We pour out our praise
It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

All the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord

Build My Life

Worthy of every song
we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise
we could ever bring

Worthy of every breath
we could ever breathe
We live for You
We live for You

Jesus, the name
above every other name
Jesus, the only One
who could ever save

Worthy of every breath
we could ever breathe
We live for You
Oh, we live for You

Holy, there is no one like You
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder

And show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love

to those around me

I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken

Have My Heart

My heart is Yours forever
My heart is Yours forever

You love with no reservation
You’re not looking for perfection
And there’s no need in me pretending
I’ll give You everything
I’ll give You everything

You deserve my full attention
And nothing less than my devotion
Oh, speak to me and I will listen
I’ll give You everything
I’ll give You everything

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
You can have my heart
You can have my heart

Be the Lord of my emotions
Set me free from selfish motives
And search me till there’s nothing hidden
And I’ll give You everything
Yes, I’ll give You everything

Open Space w/ Make Room tag

I will make room for You
To do whatever You want to
To do whatever You want to

My heart is an open space
For You to come and have Your way
I’m open, I’m open

Pull me in closer, close to Your heart
May I be a pure reflection
of who You are

Love that is patient, love that is kind
Love that keeps no offenses
or wrongs in mind

Make me like Jesus
Make me like Jesus

You’re faithful to find me
Right where I am
Even in my wandering
You call me friend

Mercy receives me
And lifts me to my feet
I’m caught up in the wonder
and the mystery

Of knowing Jesus
Of knowing Jesus

Invitation Fountain

All who are weak
All who are weary
Come to the Rock
Come to the fountain

All who have sailed
On the rivers of heartache
Come to the sea
Come on be set free

If You lead me Lord, I will follow
Where You lead me Lord, I will go
Come and heal me Lord, I will follow
Where You lead me Lord, I will go
I will go, I will go

All who are weak
All who are thirsty
Come to the Rock
Come to the fountain

All who have climbed
On the mountains of heartache
Reach to the stars
Come on give your life

Sound of Adoration

When we were lost ones
You were the Shepherd that carried us home
When we were prodigals
You ran to meet us with open arms
And we can’t hold back our praise

When we were refugees
You were the One who took us in
When we were enemies
You paid the price for all our sin
And we can’t hold back our praise

This is the sound of adoration
Oh, how we love You
Jesus, we love You

You are the joy of all creation
Oh, how we love You
Jesus, we love You

You are the Risen One
You conquered death and made a way
You sang our freedom song
Now we are dancing on our chains
And we can’t hold back our praise

By the cross, I am free
Your grace changes everything
I was blind, now I see
Your grace changes everything

Sabbath/Rest Reflections
  1. When/where/how do you feel deeply loved and fully embraced as you are? When was the last time you were able to experience this?
  2. When/where/how do you feel wholly yourself? (Think of the words you used to describe yourself from yesterday’s practice).
  3. Take some time to reflect on your past – those things that have shaped and formed you. Where are the places, who are the people, what are the lessons that have shaped your idea of production, efficiency, maximization, work, and rest, restoration, and sabbath?
  4. What difficulties or compulsions make it hard for you to stop?
  5. Take a moment to review your sabbath practices thus far. What have they looked like?
  6. Can you map out a rhythm of rest as you look at your calendar?
  7. The people of God would take the preparation of the Sabbath seriously, so that they could fully rest on the day of Sabbath. What kind of preparation would you need to do in order to be able to rest?
  8. Do you find that sometimes you consider rest as other forms of work (eg: cooking, cleaning, etc)? What will help you to identify what is truly restful and what is work disguised as rest?
  9. Sabbath, in its purest form, entails ritual, something that we do regularly, each time, to mark an occasion. Rituals can usher in meaning. Is there a ritual that will help you usher in your Sabbath? (lighting a candle, listening to music, using a certain mug for your coffee/tea, a prayer that you’ll say)
  10. What do rest and play look like for you? How often are you able to take part in these activities of rest and play?
  11. Take some time to dream of a Sabbath day. What would a day dedicated to replenishing yourself — soul, mind, and body — look like? What would a period longer than a day look like?
