We invite you to slow down, breathe, and connect with God, each other, and yourself. Begin by taking a couple of slow, deep breaths.
- At our retreat, one of the ways we learned to be present and to help calm our nervous system was “butterfly tapping”
- Make a butterfly, close your eyes, and begin tapping your chest — slowly and gently, just a couple of times
- Remember how much our Good Shepherd loves and cares for you!

- National Hispanic Heritage Month: We continue to celebrate the many ways our Hispanic siblings enrich our lives, communities, and nation. This celebration goes from September 15 to October 15!
- Mira Mesa Street Fair: This Saturday, October 3rd (setup at 9:00 am, tear down at 5:00 pm)! We’re looking for volunteers throughout the day as we seek to be good neighbors and share the creative, hope-filled love of Christ with all!
- Hygiene Kits: We will assemble hygiene kits for our houseless neighbors on Sunday, October 25th after service. Please bring donations starting next Sunday! During the Street Fair, we will invite our neighbors to join us for this event.
