- Church Retreat: Starting this Friday and going through Sunday (that means we will not gather for worship at Sandburg next Sunday, the 20th). Please talk to Howard if you haven’t registered yet!
- National Hispanic Heritage Month: We celebrate the many ways our Hispanic siblings enrich our lives, communities, and nation. This celebration goes from September 15 to October 15 — the start date reflects historically significant independence dates for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua (as well as the 16th for Mexico, and the 18th for Chile).
- Mira Mesa Street Fair: Our church will once again host a booth at the Street Fair on Saturday, October 3rd (setup at 9:00 am, tear down at 5:00 pm). We’re looking for volunteers throughout the day as we seek to be good neighbors and share the creative, hope-filled love of Christ with all!
